GRANTS PASS, Ore. (AP) — A 2-year-old boy has drowned in a swimming pool in the Southern Oregon community of Kerby.
Josephine County Sheriff Gil Gilbertson told The Grants Pass Daily Courier (http://bit.ly/TbAxzi ) his office was called because the boy died while no one was watching him.
Gilbertson says the boy's family was visiting the home of a friend on Saturday.
The child's name was not released.
