MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — White City might finally become a city.
The Jackson County Board of Commissioners approved a petition this week allowing residents to decide whether to incorporate their rural southern Oregon community.
The Mail Tribune reported (http://is.gd/2QPF1g ) that commissioners supported most of the petition in a public hearing last month, but had to iron out the proposed city boundary lines.
The vote is set for November.
