MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — A Medford doctor who diverted opiates for his own use and administered drugs to an employee without her consent will have his medical license suspended for 60 days.

The Mail Tribune newspaper (http://is.gd/Jzk6Ya ) reports that Dr. Shawn Sills could lose his license altogether if he fails to follow the requirements of a 10-year probationary term ordered by the Oregon Medical Board.

Sills has been assigned a compliance officer who will review his medical records. Sills and the officer will meet quarterly and Sills will be interviewed by the medical board annually.

The doctor assured the board he is now clean and sober.
