BEND, Ore. (AP) — Police say a man who was shot to death at a home in Bend apparently was an intruder who broke in.
Lt. Paul Kansky told KTVZ (http://is.gd/ZwzWPa ) the homeowner and a woman returned to his home early Sunday and found the front door forced open and an intruder in the living room.
A fight involving all three ensued. Police say Kevin Perry shot Shane Michael Munoz. The 33-year-old Bend man was pronounced dead after police arrived at the scene.
Perry and the woman suffered minor injuries in the fight. No one was arrested. The investigation continues.
