PORTLAND -- A man was arrested Friday in connection with several Washington County burglaries, and 13 guns were among the stolen items recovered, police said.
A search warrant was served last Wednesday at the home of 45-year-old Kurt Dahlgren, in the 8800 block of Southwest River Road, said Sgt. Vance Stimler of the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
Evidence found in the home linked Dahlgren to at least two burglary victims, Stimler said. Dahlgren was accused of stealing more than 100 items, including the 13 guns. He was jailed on multiple burglary and theft charges. All of the stolen firearms were recovered.
"Mr. Dahlgren's victims were known to him and in one case he was paid to perform work at the victim's house," Stimler said. "Detectives believe Mr. Dahlgren returned and forced entry to steal smaller items easy to liquidate."
Detectives said there may be more victims, and anyone with information was asked to call the WCSO at (503) 846-2500.
