DONALD, Ore. -- An Aurora man died and four people were injured in a car-pickup truck collision Monday evening west of Donald, according to the Marion County sheriff's office.
A 1989 Buick LeSabre driven by Georgina Harrision, 43, of Aurora, was westbound on Yergen Road Northeast, turning left onto Case Road, police said. The car was struck by a 1994 Ford F150 pickup driven by Daniel L. McAfee, 49, of Portland.
Harrison was airlifted to a Legacy Emanuel in Portland. Her condition was available. Her passenger, Todd B. Arendt, 49, died at the scene of the crash.
McAfee was taken to OHSU in Portland. His condition was not available. Passengers Catherine McFee, 43, and Holly McAfee, 12, were treated at OHSU for non-life threatening injuries.
The accident remained under investigation.
