MILWAUKIE -- An attempted suicide victim was arrested for the murder of his wife in Milwaukie.
Clackamas County deputies arrested 60-year-old Terry Lee Daniel last Friday for murder, upon his release from the hospital.
On Sunday, February 12, deputies were dispatched to a mobile home park at 4400 Roethe Road after neighbors called 9-1-1 to report a man calling out for medical assistance from inside his trailer.
Deputies found Daniel, with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest. Lisa S. Haynes, 55, was found dead inside the trailer from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest.
"They were a nice couple," Smith said. "They shared their lives together. They loved each other...health problems... He took care of her and I think she was just in a lot of pain, suffering a lot."
