SALEM -- A suspected getaway driver was arrested in connection with three Salem robberies last weekend, but the robber was still on the loose, police said.

Three convenience stores were robbed Saturday between 5:40 and 6:50 a.m., said Lt. Steve Birr of the Salem Police Department. A KIA van was identified as the suspect vehicle in all three incidents.

Tuesday afternoon police pulled the vehicle over in the 100 block of Mission Street Southeast. The driver, 48-year-old Robin Templeton of Salem (pictured, right), was jailed on two counts of second-degree robbery.

Police are also looking for 24-year-old Roberta Alean Hudson (pictured, left). Investigators believe Hudson committed the robberies, Birr said. She was described as 5-foot-8, 160 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes. She is believed to be homeless and staying in the Salem area.

Anyone with information was asked to call Salem police at (503) 588-6123.
