The Everett Animal Shelter is seeking the public’s help for a dog whose back legs are paralyzed and needs the help of a cart.

Noodle, whose breed mix is unknown, likely lost the use of her back legs due to an injury as a young pup, neurologists told the shelter. She does not appear to have a birth defect.

“Of course Noodle doesn’t know she can’t use her back legs, she still gets where she wants to be!” the shelter wrote in a post on its website.

Noodle has an appointment to get fitted for a cart, which will be paid for with donations from the shelter’s Fund for Animals.

Noodle is not yet available for adoption.
