Portland murder suspect arrested in Vancouver

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Vancouver police on Thursday arrested a man wanted for a murder in Portland.

Felauai Satele, 38, is accused of killing 45-year-old Michael Scott Hoven on Sept. 23 at a house in the 1700 block of Southeast 162nd Avenue.

A medical examiner said Hoven died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Satele was arrested after Vancouver police contacted him in connection with a reported prowler and learned he had a murder warrant.

Police took Satele to the Clark County Jail, where he will wait to be brought to Oregon to face charges.
