Police: 20-year-old man arrested for vandalism during riot

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Police have made another arrest in connection with vandalism during a Portland protest against GOP President-elect Donald Trump last weekend.

Portland police said in a news release that officers arrested 20-year-old Gavin Hotchkiss in Milwaukie Thursday and booked him into Multnomah County Jail on charges of criminal mischief and riot.

Police say detectives developed information that Hotchkiss was involved in vandalizing a Jeep being driven in downtown Portland that was surrounded by protesters on Nov. 10.

The Portland Police Bureau continues to ask for the public's help to identify criminal suspects involved in the protests.

Some images of criminal suspects have been released publicly on the Bureau's "CanYouIDMe" page and can be viewed here.
