Suspect arrested in stabbing of 3 in SE Portland

PORTLAND – Police arrested a suspect after three people were stabbed early Sunday morning in Portland.

Just after midnight, police found tree people suffering from stab wounds in the 3500 block of Southeast 141st Avenue, said Sgt. Pete Simpson with Portland police.

Mario Martinez, 47, Jose Garcia-Martinez, 55, and Yunier Garcia-Osborne, 28, were all taken to Portland hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, Simpson said.

Witnesses described the suspect, which led police to the 17800 block of Southeast Stark Street were they contacted two suspects and placed them into custody.

One suspect was released. The other suspect, 31-year-old Rolando Oliva-Rodriguez (pictured) was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.He was booked in the Multnomah County Jail.
