TUALATIN, Ore. – The man accused of setting up a hidden camera in a Sherwood Starbucks bathroom pleaded not guilty in court Friday.

Richard Ipsen, 59, of Tualatin, was accused of hiding a camera in an AC adaptor in a Sherwood Starbucks bathroom in May. He was charged with eight counts of invasion of privacy and other charges.

Ipsen pleaded not guilty. Witnesses said he was in an out of court in less than five minutes.

His next court date was scheduled for August 5.

Bend police were also investigating Ipsen for a similar crime in Central Oregon.
