LYONS, Ore. -- A third man has been arrested in connection with the home invasion and assault of a 75-year-old Lyons man last month, police said.
Police responding to the report of a kidnapping and robbery on August 23 at 47065 Lyons Mill City Drive found the homeowner, John Bach, unconscious and bound in such a way that he could not not move and could barely breathe, said Linn County Undersheriff Bruce Riley.
A woman who was renting a room from Bach had allowed three people into the home. Bach said the three brutally beat him and ransacked his house. Then they stole and crashed his pickup truck.
