16-year-old shot in Southeast Portland; Gang Enforcement Team investigating

PORTLAND, Ore. – A 16-year-old boy was shot in Southeast Portland Thursday night.

The teen was taken to a Portland hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Gunfire was reported at around 9:15 p.m. in the area of Southeast 120th Avenue and Harold Street. No victims were located at the scene. Officers spoke to witnesses who told police they heard gunfire and vehicles leaving the area.

About 20 minutes later, a resident near Southeast 122nd Avenue and Holgate Boulevard reported a teen suffering from a gunshot wound.

The Gang Enforcement Team is investigating.
