VANCOUVER- Some Vancouver's restaurants and bars are fundraising Wednesday to help the families of the Oso Wash. landslide.

Ten eateries, most within walking distance from each other, known for competing against each other, are working together to fill your appetite and raise money for the Snohomish Red Cross Chapter.

"We should show people we are a community," said Paul Klitise, chef and owner of Willem's on Main.

Klitsie got the idea for Dine Around Vancouver for Oso after watching news reports of the landslide.

Although his restaurant has only been open six months, he approached downtown restaurants and with the help from Vancouver's Downtown Association, word started spreading.

On Wednesday, most restaurants will donate 15 percent of sales for lunch and dinner to the American Red Cross, with funds designated to the relief efforts in Oso.

"If you want to do something you, can do it by yourself," Klitsie said. "It's just a tiny little drop in the bucket."If you want to make an impact you try to pull people in."

Here is a list of restaurants and bars participating in Dine Around Vancouver.
