WEST LINN, Ore. – Nine “dream” homes will be on display starting Saturday during the NW Natural Street of Dreams home tour at the Stonehenge neighborhood in West Linn.
Visitors will have a chance to tour nine luxury homes on the street and learn about the natural materials, energy efficient details and interior design techniques used in each home.
Eight Northwest companies built the nine homes, which sit on custom-landscaped one-acre view plots. Seven of the homes have been pre-sold, and many of the buyers worked with homebuilders on the designs.
"It's the first Street of Dreams in the nation, the longest-running street of dreams in the nation," said Nancy Haskin, Vice President of the Home Builders Association of Metro Portland.
"We've never had to take a break due to economy downturns, so we're pretty proud of ourselves," she said.
The event opens July 27 and runs until August 25. The Street of Dreams tour will include nearly two-dozen events including wine dinners and musical performances.
