BEAVERTON, Ore. -- Nike has plans to expand its operations in Oregon and hire as many as 12,000 workers by 2020, according to Gov. John Kitzhaber.
The expansion was expected to cost $440 million to build and create around 2900 new construction jobs, Kitzhaber said.
Nike Inc., has its headquarters in Beaverton.
The expansion could bring $2 billion more to the Oregon economy each year, Kitzhaber said.
