MCMINNVILLE, Ore. -- A retired 747 airplane will be the centerpiece of a new water park under construction in McMinnville.
The 747 jetliner was raised into place on top of the Evergreen Aviation Wings and Waves building last Friday.
Authorities with the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum said waterpark was expected to open during the summer of 2011.
It will include wave pools, waterslides and interactive exhibits.
The building will also include space for concessions and parties.
