BEAVERTON – A new Walmart Neighborhood Market store in Beaverton officially opens next week.
The store features a grocery, pharmacy and deli along with an office, health, beauty and pet section.
Mayor Denny Doyle said the 70 additional jobs will help the local economy.
The store on 8235 SW Apple Way will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.
Walmart will also offer a service called “Site-to-Store,” which allows customers to ship online orders from www.walmart.com free to any Walmart store for pickup., including this one.
The store will host a free grand-opening celebration at 7:30 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 16 with product samplings, giveaways and character appearances.
