PORTLAND -- For some people, the holidays are a do-it-yourself dream. But more and more, people are leaving the decorating to someone else.

Many people don’t have a lot of time extra time to spruce out the house when the holidays roll around.

But there are plenty of companies that can help you save a little time by doing your holiday decorating for you.

The folks at Cooper Christmas Trees in Beavercreek will cut, bundle, deliver and decorate your tree. When the season’s over, they’ll come pick and it up, too.

In Lake Oswego, a work crew of three will take several hours to wrap a home in thousands of lights.

The Christmas season is non-stop work for Vladimer Venger and Total Light Design.

“This year we'll do up to 300 houses,” Venger. “We've got three teams working right now. And we're trying to get as many done as possible.”

Venger said he’s decorated homes for a little as $150 and as much as $17,000.

Safety is a number-one priority when it comes to hiring out our holiday cheer. If you do hire someone, make sure they are bonded and insured.
