HILLSBORO, Ore. -- A multi-million dollar manufacturing center opened Tuesday in Hillsboro.
Governor Kulongoski and members of Congress joined Genentech executives for the opening ceremony.
The biotech site includes what the company called a "state-of-the-art" biologic fill/finish facility, warehousing and distribution center.
Executives said the $400 million investment would employ a workforce of about 250.
