BROOMFIELD, Colo. (AP) — Plastic and metal packaging company Ball Corp. says Chief Operating Officer John A. Hayes will add the title of president at the start of 2010 and will join the company's board of directors.
In other senior management changes announced Wednesday, Chief Financial Officer Raymond J. Seabrook will become chief operating officer of global packaging operations next year, reporting to Hayes.
Treasurer and Vice President Scott C. Morrison will become senior vice president and chief financial officer while remaining treasurer.
Hayes and Morrison will report to 64-year-old Chairman and CEO R. David Hoover, who has been president of Ball since January 2000.
Ball Corp. is based in Broomfield, Colo.
