Oregon tax amnesty deadline is Nov. 19

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The Department of Revenue reminds Oregonians that the deadline to apply for the state's tax amnesty program is almost here.

All applications must be postmarked by Thursday, Nov. 19.

The program allows delinquent Oregon taxpayers to make good on unpaid back taxes and avoid paying penalties.

To help with last-minute applications, the Department of Revenue is extending its customer service hours. Customer service reps are now available 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
