T-Mobile has added new cell phone plans in advance of its press event on Tuesday, March 26th.

The new plans start at $50 per month for 500 megabytes of data for a single phone, and do not require an annual contract.

Mobile devices must be purchased at full price with the new plans, though the company is offering a monthly payment plans as alternative to full payment at checkout.

With the new plans, T-Mobile is also offering unlimited nationwide calling minutes and unlimited messages.

A big change in the plans is the inclusion of tethered mobile hotspot data. The company has offered plans with or without contracts in the past.

T-Mobile is trying to reposition itself in the mobile carrier market by offering customers plans that don't subsidize mobile devices.

The company is set to roll out LTE service across its network and should offer Apple devices by the end of the year.
