EAGLE CREEK, Ore. -- An eagle creek woman is looking for some help caring for a baby deer.
She said some neighbors found the fawn injured in a ditch, so they brought it home, patched it up, and tried to release her into the wild.
The little deer couldn't fend for itself so the woman agreed to take care of it.
“She seems to be doing really good. When I got her, she was very dehydrated and very hungry and she's perked right up since then,” the woman told KGW. "It can't be released back into the wild. It's too humanized, so it's going to have to go to a refuge or an animal rescue."
Sue said she called at least 20 rescue groups from Oregon to New Jersey with no luck.
