PORTLAND -- Vice President Joe Biden and candidate Paul Ryan will face off for their first and only debate Thursday and there are a few places in Portland to gather and watch it with others.

The Laurelhurst Theater will dedicate two big screens to screening the event, which is about 380 seats. The event is free and open to adults 21 and over. Click for more

The debate will be held at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. ABC News Chief Foreign Correspondent Martha Raddatz will moderate. It will broken into nine 10-minute segments.

The debate will air on KGW NewsChannel 8 at 6 p.m. and the live stream will be available here

Two more presidential debates will take place before the election, on October 16 and October 22.
