PORTLAND – Portland police are asking for the public’s help to find a man who robbed a cell phone store at gunpoint earlier this month.

On April 5, an employee of Cricket Wireless at 8226 NE Fremont St. said he was robbed around 1 p.m. by a man who waved a gun at him.

On Thursday, police released surveillance video of the robbery in hopes it would lead to an arrest.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 50s, 5-foot-10, with gray hair. We was wearing a purple bandanna on his head, a red and gray shirt, blue shorts and black shoes. He was armed with a handgun.

Anyone with information about the robbery was asked to call detectives at 503-823-3441
