VANCOUVER -- Police are asking for help from the public to find a missing 5-month-old boy they said could be endangered.

Jaxon Smith (center) could be with one or both of his parents, 36-year-old Summer Smith (left) and 31-year-old Kasey McKernan, according to the Vancouver Police Department.

A child protective services worker was in the process of taking Jaxon into custody per court order on Nov. 27, when McKernan assaulted the worker, grabbed the boy and fled in a pickup Smith was driving, police said.

The pickup was identified as a black 1996 Chevrolet S-10 with Washington license plate A11272U.

On Thursday afternoon, 33-year-old Michael Grant Fuller was arrested on charges of kidnapping and rendering criminal assistance in connection with the case. But police still had not found Jaxon or his parents

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the child or his parents was asked to call police at 360-487-7399.
