VANCOUVER -- A 44-year-old Vancouver man died after jumping from the rocks at Moulton Falls into the Lewis River, police said.
Witnesses said a man had jumped into the swirling water Tuesday evening and never resurfaced.
Several Clark County emergency crews responded to the scene and found the man submerged in 10 feet of water, said Sgt. Fred Nieman of the Clark County Sheriff's Office.
His body was recovered from the water and he was identified as Sean Margetis, Neiman said.
The drowning was one of three recreational river deaths in Clark County since Sunday.
