SANDY, Ore. -- A pedestrian was hit by a delivery van and left in a Sandy roadway with serious injuries on Nov. 7, and police are still looking for the suspects.

Two days after the man was hit deputies found the van, but it had been torched, according to the Sandy Police Department.

A license plate on the van was registered to a business in Salem, but that business had not reported any missing vehicles, police said.

Investigators later found that the van had been stolen from Bonner, Idaho, on Nov. 6. They're working to identify the suspects, but said any help from the public would be appreciated.

Anyone with information on the hit-and-run, the theft of the van, or the theft of the license plate was asked to call the Sandy Police Department.
