Lincoln City, Ore. -- Volunteers near Lincoln City Saturday cleaned up debris from the Japan tsunami that continues to wash up on shore.

More than 50 people got together and scoured the beach for trash that is unmistakably from the other side of the Pacific Ocean.

They came across everything from a large foam mattress to a small bottle cap with Japanese writing on it.

Scientists estimate there are 1.5 million tons of debris from the tsunami still floating in the Pacific.
