CORVALLIS, Ore. -- If you're a fan of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, then Oregon State University was the place to be on Wednesday.

Ellen DeGeneres visited the Corvallis campus via satellite Wednesday afternoon. The event took place at the Memorial Union quad at OSU, and will air on the show next week.

During the show, DeGeneres interacted with students from her set in Los Angeles, and her correspondent, Jeannie Klisiewicz,  was at the quad, hanging out with the students.

Students wore a variety of costumes according to different themes, such as Dress like your dad.

She also had students scurrying around campus looking for five envelopes that contained cash prizes ranging from $500 to $10,000.

"We had a lot of fun," said student Caleb Lewis. "Such a big person."

DeGeneres had been keeping details under wraps, but started to tweet out clues on Saturday hinting at something fun at OSU:

Then on Monday, she hinted again:

What we do know is that Ellen loves to give away prizes and play games with fans on her show.

Follow Ellen on Twitter to get the details as soon as they come out.

The OSU segment will air on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday, May 28.
