PORTLAND – A shot was fired during a fight between two men on a MAX platform Thursday night, witnesses told police.
The witness told officers a man fired one shot from a handgun on the platform at the 82nd Avenue station just before 8 p.m. He then took off running, said Sgt. Pete Simpson with the Portland Police Bureau.
No one was reportedly injured, but police are looking for a suspect who is described as a 15 to 17-year-old Hispanic or Asian man with a medium build. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a black bandanna, a black and gray jacket, and a black backpack, Simpson said.
Anyone with information was asked to call police.
