PORTLAND – A Taco Bell restaurant in Northeast Portland was robbed Sunday night at gunpoint, police said.
The suspect entered the Taco Bell, located at 7415 Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, just before 8 p.m. armed with a handgun and demanded money, police said.
“After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect shoved the gun into his pants and ran out the door,” said Sgt. Pete Simpson with the Portland Police Bureau.
Officers searched the neighborhood but did not locate the suspect. He was described as an African American man in his mid-20s wearing dark clothes and a white and black “costume-type” mask similar to the one in the film "V for Vendetta."
