WOODBURN, Ore. -- Police in Woodburn, Ore., called in the state police bomb squad Friday night to investigate a suspicious package left at a store in an outlet mall.

Woodburn city spokesman Jason Horton says the bomb squad took a picture of the package and determined it contained "store-bought items."

Several stores at the north end of Woodburn Premium Outlets were closed and evacuated before police cleared the scene.

Horton says the package was left at a store called Max Studio. Police were able to locate the package owner, who came and picked it up.

Woodburn is south of Portland.
