ALOHA, Ore. – An Aloha woman suspected of drunk driving led police right to her home during a chase Sunday – and she only had three tires on her vehicle.
Deputies responding to a call of a hit-and-run crash in Washington County said they spotted the suspect vehicle and tried to pull it over, but the driver instead sped off.
A chase ensued and deputies said even though the front left tire was gone from Shawn Davenport’s jeep, she still managed to race away.
Sgt. Vince Stimler with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said Davenport eventually parked in front of her house, where she was promptly arrested.
Davenport, 53, was also accused of smashing into several parked vehicles along Alexander Street in Aloha.
She was charged with DUII, failure to perform duties of a driver and felony elude.
