PORTLAND – A man was still at large after he robbed a downtown convenience store with a knife Monday night, police said.

The knife wielding man robbed an employee at Peterson’s at 115 SW Yamhill Street at around, 8:30 p.m. Monday night, according to Sgt. Pete Simpson of the Portland Police Bureau.

The suspect fled and police are still looking for him.

The man was described as 21 – 26 years old, five foot ten inches to six feet tall, with a medium build, possibly bald, wearing glasses and a black T-shirt and black pants, Simpson said.
