PORTLAND – Officers arrested a suspect Tuesday in a Feb. 12 gang stabbing at the Lloyd Center Mall in Portland, police said.
Louis Williams, 19, was arrested in Vancouver, Wash. after authorities spent the past two weeks pouring over surveillance video and witness information, said Sgt. Pete Simpson with Portland police.
Police found the 16-year-old victim bleeding from stab wounds around 4:30 p.m. near the Nordstrom inside the mall’s west end.

Investigators tracked Williams to Vancouver where police arrested him Tuesday evening at Northeast 59th Street and 106th Avenue. He was booked in the Clark County Jail for attempted murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
Williams will be extradited to Multnomah County where he will be booked in jail.
