PORTLAND – A suspect in a deadly shooting outside a Portland strip club turned himself in Friday afternoon, police said.
Bradley O’Rourke, 30, was booked in the Multnomah County Jail on murder and attempted murder charges, said Sgt. Pete Simpson with Portland police.
An argument led to the shooting death last Wednesday morning outside a strip club in Northeast Portland's Cully neighborhood. Officers were dispatched to Club Skinn at 60th and Prescott about 2 a.m. after reports of multiple gunshots, Simpson said.
Anton Lashawn Hill, 33, died and a 21-year-old woman was taken to the hospital. She was expected to survive.
The suspect, now identified as O’Rourke, fled from the scene on foot, Simpson said.
Hill's uncle spoke with KGW at the scene.
"My son told me that (the victim) and shooter had a few words and one thing led to another," said Ray Lamkins. "Before I know it the guy pulled a gun and started shooting. His girlfriend got shot in the arm and my nephew was shot in the head."
"There's too many youngsters that got these guns out here. You don't know who's packing and who ain't," he added. "Once you get into an argument, then all of a sudden they're pulling guns. And pulling triggers."
