PORTLAND -- Tuesday was expected to be another sunny day in the Portland metro area, with temperatures in the 80s. And on Wednesday, we could tie the record high of 88 degrees, according to KGW meteorologist Nick Allard.
"It's going to be another beautiful day with even warmer temps and more sunshine," Allard said.
He added that Wednesday will be even warmer, with highs approaching 90 degrees.
On Thursday, the wind direction will change, bringing cooling temperatures.
"Some cooler air that will impact the coast on Wednesday will finally start to creep inland on Thursday," Allard explained. "That means temperatures will drop a couple of degrees, but stay in the mid to upper-80s."
Temperatures on Friday were expected to drop into the mid-70s, with light showers arriving on Saturday.
