PORTLAND – The dry, sunny days in the Portland metro area continued through the weekend, with temperatures hitting 71 on Sunday.
Low clouds Saturday morning quickly gave way to mostly sunny skies, with temps in the mid-60s.
Then, on Sunday, metro area residents saw clear skies with weather hitting 71 degrees, said KGW Meteorologist Rod Hill.
Hill said many areas of the Oregon coast hit 70, and Newport, Ore. was beautiful and 72 degrees.
Monday was expected to be slightly cooler, but the high could still reach 70, making for the first back-to-back 70-degree days, before rain and cooler temps roll in Tuesday.
