PORTLAND -- MAX Green and Yellow lines in downtown Portland were disrupted for most of Monday due a power issue.
Portland Streetcar NS service was also disrupted, said TriMet spokeswoman Roberta Altstadt.
The electrical problem is related to construction on the Portland/Milwaukie Light Rail Transit Project.
Riders were advised to use regular bus service on Southwest 5th and 6th avenues. Shuttle buses were also serving streetcar stops between Southwest 10th Avenue at Market Street and the South Waterfront.
Just before 2 p.m. TriMet announced that service was restored, but delays were likely.
