PORTLAND – A 16-year-old girl reported being sexually assaulted by a stranger Monday morning in Northeast Portland, police said.
The teen told officers she was attacked as she was walking to school near Northeast 131st Avenue and Prescott Drive, according to Sgt. Pete Simpson of Portland police.
The suspect was described as a tall African American man with a medium-length afro, wearing a jacket with black sleeves. He is believed to be between 18 and 25 years old.
Sex Crimes Unit detectives were investigating the incident. Anyone with information was asked to contact police at 503-823-0894.
