The suspect used five fake bills to buy an iPhone 5 from a victim he met in Oregon City through a Craigslist ad. The victim learned the bills were fake when trying to deposit them at a bank, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.
The suspect is described as a white man, 18-25 years old, 6' tall, with light brown hair and distinctive ear piercings. Officials believe the suspect may have given the fake bills to other victims.
