PORTLAND – A second Outdoor Store employee was attacked by "street kids" Thursday. Police believe it was related to an attack Monday that left a 70-year-old man hospitalized.
Larry Allen, 70, was bashed over the head with a skateboard by a "street kid" Monday while hosing off the sidewalk outside of the downtown Portland Outdoor Store where he works, police said.

Allen suffered scrapes, bruises and a gash above his eye. He was recovering in fair condition at a Portland hospital following the attack.
Miguel Figueroa, also an employee of the Outdoor Store, helped Allen after the attack.
But Thursday around midnight, Figueroa was also attacked outside of his apartment on Southwest Fifth Avenue.
Figueroa said he was taking out the trash when he was knocked down by three men.
According to Figueroa, the men kicked and punched him and said something to the affect of, "That's the one from the Outdoor Store and this is for our friend."
Figueroa said he is scared and in shock. "This is my home," he said.
The suspect from Monday's attack was described as a tall man in his 20s with blond hair and no shirt. The suspect was with a group of at least two other men and a woman at the time of the assault.
Police believe both attacks are linked. Crime Stoppers was offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest. To leave a tip for Crime Stoppers, call 503-823-HELP or leave a tip online at crimestoppersoforegon.com.
