PORTLAND – Police have released a sketch of the man who impersonated a police officer and stole cash from a woman's purse early Sunday morning

The woman told officers she was pulled over near North Vancouver Avenue and North Ainsworth Street after being followed by a white Buick with flashing headlights, police said.

She said the man claimed to be an undercover police officer and asked to search her car for drugs. She allowed the search and then noticed money was missing from her purse.
