PORTLAND – After being closed since Friday, the Sellwood Bridge will reopen Tuesday in time for the morning commute.
The bridge will open to cars, bikes and pedestrians by 7 a.m., according to Multnomah County spokesman Mike Pullen. It was closed late Friday for construction.
Crews had until Feb. 20 to finish drilling new support shafts, but finished ahead of schedule.
“The drilling team worked around the clock from midnight on Friday,” said Pullen.
