BEND, Ore. -- A Bend man with autism was found safe Monday, after spending 24 hours in the snow on Mount Bachelor.

Searchers in a helicopter found 21-year-old Ryan DeYoung shortly after 11 a.m.

Authorities said DeYoung was in good health, except for some exposure to the elements.

Rescuers in several helicopters and around 60 people on skis and snowmobiles helped take part in the overnight search.
