Seahawks victory parade to be Wednesday

A Seahawks victory parade is planned in downtown Seattle on Wednesday, Feb. 5, the City of Seattle announced.

The parade will start on 4th Avenue south of Denny Way and will end at CenturyLink Field

The parade is scheduled for 11a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to carpool or take transit to the parade. Parking will be limited and traffic is likely to be slow. 

The team is scheduled to land in Seattle Monday afternoon, but there will be no access for fans to view the team plane landing at Sea-Tac.

Unlike the team's departure, there will be no access or staging areas for fans to line up along 188th Street South in SeaTac or along Seahawks Way outside of VMAC, the Seahawks training facility, in Renton.
